From the Board of Directors

 TO  GREENHILL CROSSING HOMEOWNERS:

The recent actions of a few disgruntled residents (the residents) have created a potentially litigious situation for our community.  The residents have a lengthy history of conflict and disagreement with the Association regarding a variety of issues, but their most recent tirade has now escalated to a level of great concern for all.

The residents have threatened legal action against the board collectively, and against each board member personally.  Please know the allegations behind the threats are false and based on misinformation.  Further, the residents unfounded allegations place them in potential liability for defamation.  However, the truth does not seem to be important to these residents.  Rather, they appear to be motivated by spite and long-held grudges against the Board for past decisions with which they disagreed.

The residents potential actions could cost this community thousands of dollars in legal fees.  These costs, of course, would be borne by YOU.  The time lost by defending against any potential baseless lawsuit would be difficult to quantify but will certainly have an adverse affect on the community.  Frivolous litigation would consume the Boards attention and prevent us from working on the critical issues of Greenhill.

It is the fiduciary responsibility of the volunteer Board to communicate the facts for the benefit and protection of all homeowners.  Therefore, we urge you to please contact the Board if you are given any derogatory information about Greenhill or the Board Members.  You may reach us directly by email at BOARD@GREENHILLCROSSING.COM.

THANK YOU.
